last night

There is drama at Chris's work. His boss was forced to resign on Monday. Drama. Drama! I really don't want to get into it. The crazy thing is, yesterday was his bosses 40th birthday. How shitty is it to be let go the day before your 40th birthday? suckage all around. But the dinner that was planned for him still happened. Significant others were invited and I like hanging out with (most) his co-workers. It used to seem like family, but the office is growing so large that I don't know everyone anymore. Anyway... We went to a place called Fate. It is in an old house, so it's really small. We were a party of 18 people and took over 80% of the place. We ate some yummy foods. We had a sampler and ate it family style. Of the appetizers we had: Pork Pot Stickers, Fried Tofu Wedges Vegetarian, Saigon Egg Rolls and Thai Chicken Salad. Of the entrees we had: House Dynamite, Pad Thai Noodles, and Thai Coconut Curry. The curry was the BEST!! The pad thai was not that great. But the rest was really good. I even got Chris to try the tofu! The whole dinner was bitter sweet. Chris will miss Brian tremendously. I will miss him too. He is a great guy.
